Wedi ei leoli oddi fewn i dref gaerog, ganol oesol Caernarfon, Porth yr Aur yw’r safle clwb iotio hynaf yn y byd. Mae ei leoliad unigryw yn cynnig golygfeydd syfrdanol dros Afon Menai a’r hen dref. Mae ei gysylltiad â’r môr a hwylio a’r diwylliant a’r dreftadaeth sydd wedi deillio yn eu sgil mor fyw a pherthnasol heddiw ag y buont erioed.
Dros y canrifoedd ffurfiwyd tapestri lliwgar ei hanes gan lu o ddigwyddiadau o wrthryfel cynnar y Cymry i ysblander a phasiantri’r Regatas Fictoraidd ac adnewyddiad presennol y lleoliad a’r adeilad.
Ers y cychwyn mae’r sylfaenwyr a’r aelodau wedi cyfrannu at ei lwyddiant ac wedi cyflawni gorchestion morwrol personol y gallwn i gyd ymfalchïo ynddynt.
Heddiw mae Clwb Iotio Brenhinol Cymru yn sefydliad bywiog gyda rhaglen amrywiol o ddigwyddiadau hwylio a rhwyfo a chyfarfodydd cymdeithasol. Ymunwch â ni i fwynhau’r croeso a dysgu rhagor am hanes cyfareddol y fangre hudol yma a’r bobl sydd wedi ei hanrhydeddu gyda’u presenoldeb

From 6th January 2025, the website will start to be reorganised to better comply with Data Protection legislation and any content that may contain personal information or information regarding the management of the Club, will be moved into a new Members Only area which will be password protected. Any club member that uses the website can apply. For access (from 6th January onwards) click on Members Area from the top menu bar. At the bottom, you will see 'Don't have an account? Click here to register'. This will take you to an electronic form where you can enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address and a strong Password known only to yourself. Click on Register to submit the form. This will be checked and approved by the Website manager. On subsequent occasions, you will only need to enter your email and password. Content initially will be limited but more will be added as time goes by.
