History
The renovation work on Porth yr Aur was part funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Within this work we were committed to produce various pieces of material telling the history of the building and the Royal Welsh Yacht Club. Some of this was in the form of interpretation boards which are displayed in the clubhouse but for those who do not get the opportunity to visit, here are copies. They go some way to describing the fascinating heritage of Porth yr Aur and the first "Royal" yacht club in Wales
